The Warren County PeeWee League would like to congratulate Cole Phillips (Division 2 Bulls) for winning the Bowling Green Sectional Pitch, Hit, Run competition in the 7/8 year old category. Cole had the overall highest score among kids from Bowling Green and the surrounding area in hitting, running and throwing. The Pitch, Hit, Run competition is a skills event sponsored by MLB to encourage the development of kids in the game of baseball. Cole will now wait to see if his score rates high enough to be invited to the Cincinnati Reds Pitch Hit Run event where he could compete for a trip to the MLB All-Star game.
